Competition hair do for performing group girls!!

So thanks to my sweetie pie Gabi, We will be able to show you how we want the hair!! :)

STEP #1 pull the bangs back and bobbi pin!

Step #2 The next 3 pictures show that you take 3 sections of hair horizontally and put it in a pony tail!

STEP #3 Now with each pony tail, you will need to make a messy bun for each one! the easiest way i found was to take sections of 1 pony tail, spray it with hairspray and then roll it down with your fingers and bobby pin it on both sides!

THE END RESULT!! woo hoo
if ANYONE has questions call me!! im also very very very willing
to help out at the competition if some of you dont feel confident to do this! it only took us 5 minutes (really like 15 cuz we were taking pics)
Love all of you call me 668-9030

...Savannah Harter...

Savannah always shows to us that she goes home and practices her dances. Each week she remember what was taught from the previous week before. She shows her hard work and dedication through her dancing. This is why we picked her as Star of the Month for November!! We're glad she's on the performing group and we enjoy her fun personality and sweet spririt!! Here is a little about herself!!
Savannah Harter was born in Lansing, Michigan, on December 17, 2000, prior to relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of two (2). At an early age Savannah expressed a love for music which developed into an early awareness of dance. She would often watch and attempt to imitate dance routines that she observed both in movies and on television. Shortly thereafter she expressed a strong desire to begin dance lessons, but her parents thought it would be better to wait until they were settled into an area for longer term. In July, 2006, Savannah and her family moved to St. George, Utah, and shortly thereafter she began to take dance lessons. During this time Savannah continued to further her interest in dance by dedicating herself to learning new routines, and improving upon her technique. Savannah is currently a member of the Junior Dance Team Performing Group and enjoys all of the experiences that she is having. Additionally, Savannah recently began taking gymnastics classes in order to assist her in her flexibility and development. While she enjoys gymnastics she still prefers dance and looks for every opportunity to perform. Savannah is the oldest of three (3) children and enjoys spending time with friends and family. When she grows up she would like to be a school teacher and/or a dance teacher.

Teacher Of The Month!! CASSIE SWENSON

Along with starting this fun new blog and newsletter, we will also be posting some new things. We thought it would be fun to introduce a teacher a month that teach here at the studio!! We decided to start with Cassie!! Cassie Swenson is new to The Dance Shoppe this year! She moved here from Montana to go to college to Major in Business Administration. She enjoys eating fruit, Reeses, and anything sour while watching So You Think You Can Dance. Her favorite dance is Lyrical and we’re so excited for her and her fun, bubbly personality to be with us this year!
